BFG Investments Fund is structured as a Labuan Private Fund under the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010. As such, it can only conduct fundraising on a private placement basis within a closed group. Participation is subject to legal and jurisdictional eligibility, due diligence, relevant subscription documents and minimum-investment rules. In Labuan, private-fund eligibility may be based on either not more than 50 investors each making a first-time investment of at least RM250,000 (or equivalent), or any number of investors each making a first-time investment of at least RM500,000 (or equivalent), subject to applicable law. The Fund’s internal initial-subscription policy may impose a higher minimum. There will be no distribution, invitation, or sale of fund interests to members of the general public. By proceeding to inquire or invest, you represent that you are an eligible investor as defined by the relevant regulations.
Regulatory Status
BFG Investments Ltd (the fund’s entity) is registered in Labuan, Malaysia (Company No. LL21674) and operates in accordance with Labuan IBFC’s regulations. The fund has notified Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) of its business as required for private funds. This fund is not a “public fund” under Malaysian law and is not subject to approval or regulation as a retail fund by the Securities Commission of Malaysia or any other capital markets regulator. Instead, it is governed by the private fund provisions of LFSSA 2010, which permit management of a private pool of assets for a limited number of sophisticated investors. Because of this status, promotion of the fund is restricted and the information provided on this site is limited in scope. Investors will be given comprehensive information in the fund’s confidential offering documentation.
